Welcome to Broughton Heath Golf Club

Broughton Heath Golf Course is an 18 hole par 3 golf course and as such is a leader in its field.  First established in 1998, we are one of (if not) the longest 18 hole par 3 golf courses in the country with a slope rating of 86 off the men's competition (white) tees and 91 of the ladies competition (red) tees.

Broughton Heath is a demanding course set over 42 acres of land incorporating lakes, trees, ditches and many other hazards.  At 3,125 yards long off the back tees the Standard Scratch Score (SSS) becomes a testing 57 with holes ranging from 120yds to 235yds.  The general play tees (yellow) have a SSS of 53 and will test the golfing abilities of both amateur and professional golfers.

Ladies, Gentlemen and Junior golfers of all standards are welcome at Broughton Heath where we are sure you will enjoy the experience.  Please note that we operate a "Dress Code", your co-operation in this matter is gratefully appreciated.

I think everyone is glad to see the back of 2020 and hopefully we have now turned the corner in 2021 with the introduction of vaccines. Myself and Lady Captain Betty will be carrying on as Captains this year and our charity will again be Sense and hopefully we will be able to do more fundraising this time. We have some men’s matches pencilled in and club competitions will carry on as they ended last year.

Stay Safe, keep healthy

Men’s Captain 2021

We are all happy to see the end of 2020,what a year it has been!!    All county events cancelled, the majority of clubs open days also falling by the wayside, this included our own annual September event, which has been a tremendous success over many years.  How happy we all were when restrictions were lifted and we were able to resume our golf again in May.

I think tremendous thanks go to Brian and Alison who did their utmost to keep us playing our golf, what difficult times to be running a business!!   Let’s hope 2021 is kind to us all and we will be able to go ahead with all the fixtures as planned.

Stay well and safe everyone.  All good wishes.    Betty Dunphy Ladies Captain 2021
